The original Mortal Kombat came out back in 1992, but it wasn’t until recently that some secret “Ed Boon” menus were discovered in Mortal Kombat 1, 2 and 3.
These menus were obviously meant, as most secret contents were back in the day, for developers to gain easy access to parts of the game that were otherwise difficult or time-consuming to reach.

While the EJB menus don’t harbor the most groundbreaking of content, the fact that we’re discovering them only now does testify to how much fun Midway had with secret content.
