Optic Gaming is venturing into world of Dota2. They have announced that they acquired PPD’s team previously known as “The Dire” which consists of some of the best players in recent years the game has saw.

So far this lineup played in qualifiers for PGL Minor in 
Bucharest, Romania and 
Starladder where they failed to win both. However they have managed to win 
King’s Cup where they bested teams like 
Complexity Gaming, 
VGJ.Storm and 
Digital Chaos and received invite for 
Dota Pit Minor held in 
Split, Croatia.
With this type of lineup we can expect them to be contenders at each of Minor events, and certainly to qualify for playoffs in Majors.
