From Thursday, September 19, gamers around the world will have the opportunity to browse, buy, or wishlist games from in Serbia. Some of over 60 games will be heavily discounted and others will soon be published.
The Serbian Games Association (SGA) has curated and launched Serbian Games Week, a week of promotion and celebration of the success of the Serbian gaming ecosystem on Steam.
There are more than 60 games on the list. It includes a wide variety of games: from action, strategy and adventure, AA and indie projects to games inspired by Slavic mythology. The search for the perfect game is made easier through four categories and filters by genre.
Serbian Games Week on Steam will last from September 19th to 26th.
Five games were singled out in the Epic Experiences category. Scorn, a gorgeous nightmare from Ebb Software’s kitchen for fans of Girer aesthetics, slimy, organic enemies and bone weapons (who remembers the movie eXistenZ?). Going Medieval by the indie team Foxy Voxel is a cozy city builder simulator with, as the word itself suggests, a medieval theme.
UnderRail is an isometric RPG from indie studio Stygian Software, notorious for its difficulty because it was made as an homage to the good old games that forced us to struggle. Scars Above is an AA sci-fi adventure from Mad Head Games, focused on puzzle-solving and alien killing tactics. Fifth in this section is Tavern Master, another simulation set in the Middle Ages. This time you build your perfect inn, and behind the game is a dedicated indie solo developer.
Games made in Serbia were played by over 100 million players globally last year. The goal of this project is to bring local games to an even greater number of players and to highlight the best projects for consoles and PCs.
