YouTube streamer Dr Disrespect has officially back. Disrespect was once one of the world’s top streamers.
He built a massive fan base on Twitch and found similar success on YouTube, though his career has been the center of multiple controversies.
Disrespect was banned from Twitch on more than one occasion, with the latest proving to be permanent.
Years after Dr Disrespect was banned from Twitch, it was finally confirmed that his ban occurred after it was discovered that he exchanged messages with a minor through the Twitch Whispers feature.
The exact nature of these messages has not been revealed, but in a since-deleted statement on Twitter, Disrespect admitted that the messages “sometimes leaned too much in the direction of being inappropriate.”
In the wake of this admission, YouTube demonetized the streamer’s channel and Disrespect went on hiatus. Recent weeks have seen Disrespect tease his return in some capacity, though he hinted it may not necessarily be through streaming.
Disrespect confirmed as much in a video that shows him speeding to an island arena in a boat, flanked by a helicopter. Disrespect’s video ends with “TOMORROW” flashing on the screen and Doc saying, “We’re just getting started,” but doesn’t provide a specific time for his return or where it may take place. It’s possible it will happen on YouTube, but there’s also the possibility Disrespect’s return will happen elsewhere, was said on Youtube.
Disrespect’s social media posts since admitting to messaging a minor have been met with a mixed response, to say the least. Some have seemingly welcomed Disrespect back with open arms, while others have berated him. Disrespect tried to get ahead of such comments with his latest tweet, mocking people for making jokes about how his boat in the video is coming from Epstein Island.
