The Warner Bros. canceled the Batman: Arkham Knight designed for OS X, and Linux port, which is absolutely no surprise, knowing that the Windows version is still found wanting behind.
Even though it was previously announced for the two platforms, The Warner Bros. Steam blog says that Batman: Arkham Knight certainly will not appear on Mac and Linux.
It’s not hard to figure out why it happened that way. The Windows version was so disastrous appearance when the publisher was forced to cease the sale and only months later made available again.
“We are very sorry to confirm that Batman: Arkham Knight will no longer be coming to Mac and Linux, if you have pre-ordered Batman: Arkham Knight for Mac or Linux, please apply for a refund via Steam.”
Those who have already pre-ordered the game will get their money back.
The deleted versions of Feral Interactive has worked, the team had successfully implemented the GRID Autosport and Company of Heroes 2 on these platforms.
