Legion, the sixth expansion to massively multiplayer online role-playing game World of Warcraft, is due to drop on August 30, developer Blizzard has announced. It will see Alliance and Horde alike fighting the vast army of demons known as the Burning Legion as they return for a third attack on the so-far unconquerable land of Azeroth.
It brings with it the new Demon Hunter player class, a new continent, and storyline, a level boost to 100 for a single character, class halls, customisable artefact weapons and a PvP overhaul.
The game is available for pre-purchase now in both a standard edition, and a deluxe edition, which includes bonuses such as a mount and pet for World of Warcraft and a slew of bonuses for other Blizzard games: a mount for Heroes of the Storm, an armour set for Diablo III and portraits for StarCraft II. Players who pre-purchase either edition will also have early access to the Demon Hunter starter zone and quests.
