fnatic have announced that Jimmy “Jumpy” Berndtsson has been installed as the team’s new coach.

The 29-year-old will take over from Viktor “vuggo” Jendeby, who announced at the weekend that he was transitioning to a manager/analyst role within the organisation.

Jimmy “Jumpy” Berndtsson, who played for teams like Volt Gaming, Begrip and Meet Your Makers in 1.6, had moderate success as a player during the early stages of CS:GO and ended up embracing a career as a coach.


Jumpy to coach fnatic’s team

After little over four months on Escape Gaming, during which he also played when needed, Berndtsson has now been entrusted with the task of guiding the new fnatic roster, which recently saw the additions of John “wenton” Eriksson, Jonas “Lekr0” Olofsson andSimon “twist” Eliasson.

“I am excited to be working with such talented players and be a part of one of the most successful organisations in eSports,” Berndtssonsaid in a statement.

“I think we can do some really good things together.”

Berndtsson’s first event on the job will be the SL i-League StarSeries Season 2 Finals, which will take place from September 7-11 in Nanjing, China, with $300,000 on offer.
