Fabien “kioShiMa” Fiey has returned to FaZe’s active lineup, the organization has announced.

Fabien “kioShiMa” Fiey will replace Joakim “jkaem” Myrbostad, who has been moved to a backup position, with FaZe adding that the Norwegian will be given time to “find his motivation to either stay or find a new team.”

The French player was consigned to the bench less than one month ago to make way for Finn “karrigan” Andersen as the team looked to get back to winning ways following a series of mixed results.

kioShiMa reclaims his spot as jkaem drops to the bench

According to FaZe, kioShiMa “has shown patience, understanding and an incredible work ethic” since being benched, which, combined with “an increased effort in hours spent practicing”, has seen him reclaim his spot on the team’s roster.

jkaem has been part of the team since September 2015, when he joined the squad when it was still playing under G2 Esports. The former Copenhagen Wolves played a key role in the team’s semi-final run at DreamHack Open Cluj-Napoca, but he has come under criticism for his 2016 form, with his rating since the start of the year standing at 0.98.

FaZe now have the following roster:

Håvard “rain” Nygaard
Philip “aizy” Aistrup
Aleksi “allu” Jalli
Finn “karrigan” Andersen
Fabien “kioShiMa” Fiey

Joakim “jkaem” Myrbostad (substitute)
